Incredibly interesting read that gives one insight to such an infamous yet mysterious group. Conditon is very fine.

Texaco is a 1992 novel by French author Patrick Chamoiseau. Set in a shantytown on the outskirts of Fort-de-France (also the capital of the author’s home, Martinique), it is told by Marie-Sophie Laborieux, the daughter of a liberated slave. Marie-Sophie recounts her family’s history, starting with the 1820s and extending into the late 1900s. To construct such a long timeline, Marie-Sophie relies heavily on her father’s interpretation of the past and of the stories he heard from his ancestors. Condition is very good however as seen on picture there is a substanial crease on the front cover.

Miller has described his theme as "the terms on which man is man, particularly having a choice of action in a world that is stacked against man having any choice at all." Very good condition although some scuffs on front and back cover as usual with a book of this age.

A. Pushong is one of the few writers who have attempted a concise layman's approach to an understanding of the mnemonic value of Tarot. His approach is unhurried, deliberate, and withal comprehensible. He clearly indicates the esoteric and exoteric shades of meaning which lie hidden in each of the twenty-two of lifes paths outlines by the Major Arcana. Very interesting read, although does take a couple pages to fully wrap ones head around all the key terms. Condition is very fine however there is a small crease on the spine of the book.

Born in Germany, Bukowski grew to be one of the most famous writers in contemporary poetry and prose. Bukowoski was brought to the United States at age three and was raised in Los Angeles. He published his first story when he was 24 and began writing poetry at the age of 35. Most of his books have now been published in translation in over a dozen languages. Bukowskiss now cemented as one of the most notorious poets of all time. Condition is fine however some marks on the cover from previous use.

McCormack, Canada's most famous author as yet unsullied by Nobel Prize of television adaption, hides in plain sight as a fashion journalist. Parallel to his writing incantatory, scatological fiction, he has reviewed collections and interviewed the great and good of "la mode". His divagations are often darkly hilarious and always exquisitely tailored. The sublime and the ridiculous coexists in his prose, as they do in life. "Ignore his insight at your peril." Very fine condition, barely any signs of use.

Richard Mills spent the summer ofm 1970 talking with young people in London communes, and Young Outsiders descrives the dramatic difference between their way of live and that of the rest of society. Through his own highly sensitive observations and through the words of young people themselves, Mills presents in full their decisions to live communally, their views of themselves and the social structures they have rejected. Mills is yet another one of those authors that can create interest in stories and topics that most of us wouldn't have necessarily thought of before and this book certainly shows that skill off. Condition is very good, however there is a light marks on the cover as is common with a book of this age.

Shared Houses, Shared Lives descibes the origins of the communal household, explores the significance of this growing phenomenon, and offers the reader a comprehensive guide to joining or setting up a shared household. Chapters discuss the various types of such households and the process of community decision making and the resolution of conclifts, the issue of personal privary, and cooperative housekeeping procedures. Condition is very good, however there is slight tear towards the bottom of the cover page.

Knight established the famous journal 'Unspeakable Visions' on the 'Individual', one of the first and most prominent Beat periodicals. Arth Knight has been, in Allen Ginsberg's words, "a serious scholar of Beat literature," for more than a decade. The book is in great condition with slight yellowing due to age.

Those who know the book consider it to be a guide and preamble to Beckett's trilogy and plays. The precision of his English prose is nowhere as remarkable as in this early novel, nowhere else does his writing attain such perfection. Nowhere else does his world of metaphysical humour and kaleidoscopic enigmas attain such sombre intensity than this book before you.

A savage, funny, literary and outrageously explicit novel, Sanctity takes the reader on an underground trip through the worlds of drugs, transvestism and truth-seeking and delivers him in time for an ending so unexpected and terrifying as to make Rosemary's Baby read like a PTA diary. Condition is very good although some scuffs from previous use.

Terry Southern was known for understanding the aspirations of 'would-be hipsters', 'on-the-ball journalists', failed bullfighters and veterans. Whether recreating a crazy car journey in Mexico, staging a hilarious drama with Freud and Kafka, he was an addictive story-teller, one that was wise and cruel simultaneously. The stories in this collection were written over a twelve year period ending in 1971. The condition is very good however some scuffs and marks on the top and spine of the cover as common with a book of this age.

Prater Violet was one of the most nostalgic films of the Vienna of the Hapsburgs, with a flowergirl and a Crown Prince masquerading as a student. However, for Mr Isherwood, the author of this book, the more important were the people who made it. Throughout the book Isherwood goes into detail on the expert men and women lighting, directing and shooting such a film, with not only insight and charisma, but also a fair bit of humour as well.

RP must warn readers, that this book, due to its publication in the 1960's, has ignorantly targeted itself toward women, but we assure you, no matter who you are, you will gain a tasty meal to add to your collection. Condition is very good, although there is a small tear towards the top of the cover.

Great condition, some light marks due to use but no scuffs or tears to be seen.
