The Network is Smith's first novel since his famed 'The Business of Loving' book. The Network, goes over the rollercoaster story of the rise of independent television in the United States. While the setting of The Network is authentic and factual, the characters and their activities both in and away from the office are of the purest fiction. The condition of the book is very fine and any marks on the cover are intentionally placed there by the covers designer.
